I already own land. Where do I begin?

Great! In that case, we can jump right into the homebuilding phase. To select and customize your house, schedule a consultation with our Design team who will assist you in selecting the ideal model for your property, including industry-leading advice on positioning, orientation, climate, and other factors. To secure financing, contact our Finance team at finance@yohouse.com.

Do I need to engage surveyors or engineers?

We’re pleased to include both surveying and engineering in our full-service offering, meaning there’s no need to hire external professionals. Our team and highly qualified partners will take care of both aspects of the process for you.

Is the land included in the price?

Our guaranteed no-surprises cost structure automatically includes all homebuilding-related costs. While the purchase of land is treated as a separate cost to be undertaken independently from YoHouse services, we’d be happy to incorporate the price of land as part of the final quote for the model should you prefer.

Can I get financing through YoHouse?

Yes! We understand that financing your new home is a significant investment. Our Finance team is on hand for a personal consultation, including offering competitive financing options, supporting you in comparing terms and conditions and interest rates, and securing the most fitting solution for your investment objectives. What are my financing options?

Is there a warranty on the house?

Yes, your new home is covered by a standard one-year warranty to ensure peace of mind. In addition, we are happy to offer an optional two-to-ten-year warranty extension for comprehensive coverage in select states. To confirm whether the extended warranty applies to your state, or for more information, don’t hesitate to contact sales@yohouse.com.

How long will the entire process take?

The timeline can vary, but as a general guide:

  • Land purchase typically takes 30-60 days.
  • The design process usually takes around 30 days.
  • The approval process generally takes 30 days.
  • Construction of your home typically takes between 6 to 12 months.

What will I need at closing?

Our Finance team is pleased to take care of the entire closing process, freeing you to focus on the excitement of settling into your new home. The only element required to be arranged independently at the closing stage is home insurance.

Does YoHouse take a commission?

No, YoHouse does not charge any commission. The house price is final and guaranteed, sparing you from the complexities of endless change orders and the stressful uncertainties associated with the construction process.
